Before you charge your wire-free Arlo Essential Video Doorbell:

• The USB charging cable that came in the box with your camera is for indoor charging only.
• The USB charging cable works with most power adapters.
• The doorbell is not weather resistant when the battery is removed, so do not leave the doorbell outside while the battery is detached from the doorbell.

To charge the battery in your wire-free Arlo Essential Video Doorbell:

1. Locate the release pin that came with your wire-free Arlo Essential Video Doorbell.
   Alternatively, you can use a paperclip or a similar object.
   
2. Insert the release pin into the release pinhole at the top of the doorbell mount.
   A click occurs, and the doorbell is released from the mount.
   
3. Pull the doorbell off the mount in an up-and-out motion.
4. Bring the doorbell indoors.
5. Remove the battery from the doorbell.
6. Use the USB charging cable that came in the box to charge the battery.
   The LED lights red while charging, then lights green when fully charged.
   
7. Place the battery back into the doorbell.
8. Place your doorbell back on the mount in a down-and-in motion.
