Outdoor use guidelines
When you use your Arlo device outdoors, make sure to follow these guidelines:
- Use an Outdoor Power Adapter if you plan to keep your camera plugged in while it is outside. The Arlo power adapter that came with your camera is not weatherproof.
- Arlo Pro 2, Pro, and Go cameras can only be charged outdoors with the Arlo Solar Panel. Otherwise, Arlo cameras must be charged indoors.
- Do not allow the Arlo camera’s power adapter, battery, or battery compartment to get wet.
- Do not remove the rubber USB cover on your camera’s charging port.
- Arlo Pro 2, Pro, and Go UV-resistant silicone skins (sold separately) provide additional protection against condensation and sun glare.
