How do I adjust the light settings on my Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight Camera?

You can use the Arlo app to adjust the Dusk to Dawn Sensor, floodlight brightness, behavior, and duration settings for your Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight Camera.

To adjust light settings on your Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight Camera:

  1. Launch the Arlo app or log in to my.arlo.com.
  2. Tap or click Settings > My Devices.
  3. Select your Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight Camera.
Note: You can also open the camera’s settings by tapping or clicking the Settings icon on the Devices page.
  4. Tap or click Light Settings.
  5. Adjust the light settings:
    1. Dusk to Dawn Sensor. Move the slider to the left or right to adjust how dark or bright the surrounding environment must be for your floodlight to trigger when motion or audio is detected. For more information, visit What is the Dusk to Dawn sensor setting on my Arlo device?.
Note: This setting can be used to preserve power during the day, when the floodlight is not needed.
    2. Brightness. Move the slider to the left or right to determine how bright your floodlight shines when activated.
Note: When you use an Outdoor Charging Cable to connect the camera to continuous power, you can increase the maximum brightness on the floodlight from 2000 to 3000 lumens (lm). For more information, visit How do I charge my Arlo Pro 3 Floodlight Camera?.
    3. Behavior. Tap or click Constant or Pulsate to determine whether your floodlight shines continuously or flashes when activated.
    4. Duration. Move the slider to the left or right to determine how long your floodlight shines when manually activated. The minimum duration is 1 minute, and the maximum duration is 20 minutes. To adjust the light duration during motion or audio-triggered recordings, you must edit your camera’s Mode rules.
Note: Increasing light duration will reduce battery life.
